THE QUIET MAJORITY: Neurodivergence in Live Entertainment and Why Training Must Catch Up
I've spent my career in live entertainment. I've worked across some of the most complex technical productions in the world. And I've never once put my hand up and said: I'm dyslexic. I need help.
That's not unusual in this industry. It's the norm. This is my longest article to date, and probably the most personal thing I've written professionally. It's about the people who make every show happen, why so many of them may think the way they do, and whether the systems built to train them are truly built with them in mind.
If you work in live entertainment, or build training for people who do, I think you'll find something in here that resonates.
